I’ve always been an animal lover, but after getting our first family dog at the age of 10 I knew there was not turning back. Dog person for life! I’m in no way an expert in any field and the information on this site is purely my opinions formed from my own experience living with, and loving life with dogs.
It’s been 10 years since I got my two yorkies – and what a ride it’s been. Littermates can be very challenging, yet rewarding. If you’re considering littermates, read more about it here. I’ve been blessed with my two in the sense that, soon after bringing my pups home I discovered that my girl was born blind. It’s been great with the two growing up together as her brother, not only understand her “ways”, he is very protective and, in some instances, he will step up as the leader to protect and guide her. A blind dog will be a little more challenging, but I can definitely say that it’s not a game changer. By making some small changes in your home and taking some extra safety measures, a blind dog can easily fit into your life. Read more on the guide to living with a blind dog.
I hope that my site gives you some interesting reading and help you along the way to make the best of life with your furchild. For any medical advice or assistance, please talk to a medical professional.

I love having fun adventures with my dogs, finding pet friendly restaurants where I can have a nice lunch while enjoying time with my furkids. Always on the lookout for pet friendly accommodation – ’cause who want’s to leave the kiddos at home when they can join! Permanently scouting for new and exciting pet products and new or cool stores. If you have any of the above and would like a dog lover to review your product, service or store, please get in touch.
